Labeling machine and label making explanation II

“Three”labeling machine Label Making

1. Surface material. The firmness of the label is the key to bidding. Therefore, the surface material is required to have a certain strength and hardness,

   The stiffness of the label is related to the thickness of the material and the area of the label, so when using a soft film material,

   To increase its thickness appropriately, it is generally controlled above 100um. Thin paper materials, such as 6070g/m2 paper,

   Round bottle labeling machine is generally not suitable for making large labels, and suitable for processing into small labels, such as the price tag often used in supermarkets.

   Poor rigidity of the label will cause the label not to be output when labeling, or the label and the bottom paper will be rewinded together, which will cause the automatic labeling to fail.

2. Release force. Also called peeling force, it is the force when the label is separated from the backing paper. Release force and type of adhesive, thickness and backing paper

   The silicon coating on the surface is related to the environment temperature when labeling. The release force is too small,

   The label is easy to separate from the bottom paper during the conveying process, causing label drop; and the release force is too large, and it is difficult for the label to separate from the bottom paper.

   Unable to bid. Therefore, various technical indicators should be comprehensively controlled to keep the release force within a reasonable range.

3. Bottom paper. It is also an important indicator for controlling automatic labeling. Requires bottom paper:

a. Uniform silicon coating on the surface and consistent release force;

b. The thickness is uniform and has a certain tensile strength to ensure that it will not break when labeling;

c. It has good light transmittance to ensure that the sensor correctly recognizes the position of the label

4. Processing quality: after slitting, both sides of the bottom paper are required to be flat and free of breaks to avoid the bottom paper from breaking when the tension changes.

   Avoid cutting through the bottom paper or damaging the silicon-coated layer during cross-cutting. Damage to the bottom paper and silicon-coated layer is likely to occur.

   The backing paper is broken or the adhesive in the label penetrates into the backing paper, and the backing paper is not printed and the backing paper is torn off.

5. In addition, the static electricity in the roll label should be removed before labeling machine labeling, because static electricity will cause the label not to be displayed or inaccurate when labeling.
